U2 Why Didn't You See a Doctor? reading
1. Warm up: review vocabulary skills ( body part + ache)
2. Ask students some pre-reading questions. (Q(A)Look at the picture on page 25. What might the reading about?
Q(B) Look at the picture on page 26. Why is Bella wearing a heavy coat and drinking hot
water?
Q(C) How did you treat your cold before?)
3.Give students 10 minutes to read by themselves and find the differences between Bella's and Scott's ways of treating a cold.
4. Play the video of the reading and draw the lot to ask students post-reading questions.
5. Teach the reading skill: compare and contrast.
6. Ask students to do the reading comprehension on page 31&32 after class.
